Use of the Site
Do not misuse the site and/or services provided by U-tec. Do not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information, or gain access to any systems or networks connected to the site or to any of the services, through any means that we do not make available through the site.
Do not use any device, software or strategy to try to modify or interfere with the site with any other person’s use of the site or services. Specifically, you must not submit, upload or transfer any unauthorized files, codes, scripts or use any device, program, algorithm, methodology or process, to access, acquire, copy or monitor any portion of the site, or in any way reproduce the navigational structure or presentation of the site.
All text, graphics, user interfaces, visual interfaces, photographs, trademarks, logos, sounds, artwork, content, documentation and computer code, referred hereby as, “U-tec Content”, including but not limited to the design, structure, selection, coordination, expression, and arrangement of such U-tec Content, contained in and on the site or as part of any service is owned or controlled by U-tec, and is protected by, copyright, patent, and trademark laws in the United States.
Although U-tec has attempted to provide accurate information on the site, to the extent permitted by law, U-tec assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of the information or for any typographical or graphical errors that may appear in this or in related documents. U-tec may change the services or products mentioned on the site at any time without notice. Mention of non-U-tec products or services is for information purposes only and constitutes neither an endorsement nor a recommendation.
Setting-Up an Account
To use certain Services, you may be required to set up an account and a password for that account. It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your account and password. You must also agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account and/or password. You also agree that any information you provide in setting up an account is truthful and accurate.
Where you are required to create a password that will enable you to use a service, your email address and password will be used to validate your identity in order to access the service. If you share your information with others or allow others to access the services using your email address and password, you have no expectation of privacy or confidentiality in the personal information you may intentionally or unintentionally disclose. As a result, it is strongly recommended that you avoid giving access to these materials to others. You may not use anyone else’s U-tec password or account at any time without the express permission and consent of the holder of that information. U-tec cannot be held liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these rules.
We aim to provide highly reliable and available products and services. However, numerous services require remote access and mobile notifications, and are not intended or guaranteed to be reliable or available 100% of the time. In addition, the services may be subject to sporadic interruptions and failures for reasons beyond U-tec’s control, including but not limited to Wi-Fi intermittency, service provider uptime, mobile notifications and carriers. We cannot, and do not guarantee that you will receive notifications or have access to the Services in any given time or at all.
U-tec products and services are not certified for emergency response or intended or suitable for use in situations or environments where failure, delay, error, or inaccuracy in the data or information provided could lead to death, or personal injury. U-tec products and services do not constitute a third-party-monitored emergency system. U-tec does not monitor emergency notifications and will not dispatch emergency authorities to the location of the distressed party, in the event of emergency.
U-tec does not promise that the site or any content, service or feature of the site will be error-free, uninterrupted or that any defects will be corrected. The site and its content are delivered on as “as-is” and “as-available” basis. All information provided on the site is subject to change without notice. Furthermore, U-tec cannot guarantee that any files or other data downloaded from the site will be virus-free. U-tec disclaims all warranties, including any warranties of accuracy, non-infringement, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. You assume all responsibility for use of the site, and any linked site.
This disclaimer applies to any damages, liability or injuries caused by any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, communication line failure, theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to, alteration of, or use, whether for breach of contract, tort, negligence or any other cause of action.
Suspension or Cancellation of Site
U-tec reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate operation of the site, or access to it, for any reason. U-tec reserves the right to modify or change the site, or any portion of the site, and any applicable policies or terms. U-tec reserves the right to interrupt the operation of the site, or any portion of the site, as necessary to perform routine or non-routine maintenance, error correction, or other changes.
Except where prohibited by law, in no event will U-tec be held liable to you for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental or punitive damages, including lost profits, even if U-tec has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold U-tec, its employees, directors, and affiliates, harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses, including legal fees, made against U-tec by any third party due to or arising out of or in connection with your use of the site.

U-tec may disclose any information we have about you, including your identity, if we determine that such disclosure is necessary in connection with any investigation or complaint regarding your use of the site, or to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with, either intentionally or unintentionally, U-tec’s rights or property, or the rights or property of visitors to or users of the site, including U-tec’s customers. U-tec reserves the right at all times to disclose any information that U-tec deems necessary to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request. U-tec also may disclose your information when U-tec determines that applicable law requires or permits such disclosure, including exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection purposes.
You agree that U-tec, in its sole discretion and without prior notice, may terminate your access to the site, at the requests of law enforcement or other government agencies, or a request by you, such as a self-initiated account deletion. In the event of a discontinuance or material modification of the site or any service offered on or through the site, U-tec may terminate or block your access to the site. Your access to the site may be restricted in the event the site experiences unexpected technical issues or problems.
