The lock stopped working less than 2 months after purchase

overall happy with the lock but it stopped working less than 2 months after purchase and install. Tried to change the battery and reset the lock with a pin which all failed to fix the lock. We returned home from the easter holiday and couldn't open the door, at first there was no response from touching the numbers on the lock and 2 days after the pin pad appears to completely failed. I hope the warranty claim process will be smooth.

Latch 5 fingerprint lock

I have the Latch 5 fingerprint lock, what I like most is that the display is readable in direct sunlight and the numbers are larger. The fingerprint reader is not always responsive, it sometimes does not read quickly. I am also disappointed that, unlike the old version, I cannot use the keypad to access the passage mode, you must use the app to do that, I do not always have my phone on me. Tech support was very good.

Unsuccessfully tried fingerprint reader model, then got this one which works well but is hard to install..

I installed the fingerprint version from Amazon and installed it. It didn't work, so I returned it, ordered another, and installed the replacement. Again, it didn't work, so I returned it for a refund. The ULTRALOQ web site admits the fingerprint version doesn't work for 1% of users. It also admits that it might not work with old fingers; mine are over 80. So when ULRRALOQ had a sale dropping the price of the keypad-without-fingerprint version price done to about the Amazon all-features version price, I bought it. I installed it and it is working well. Easier than carrying and fishing for a key. The lever feature is handy. But these locks are not easy to install. I am an experienced mechanical engineer. I had a hard time sorting out the various bolts and getting them to align with the holes on the other side of the lock.
