Ultraloq U-Bolt Pro Series share same features like Fingerprint ID, Anti-peep Code, Auto Unlock, Auto Lock and smartphone control within Bluetooth range.

Here are the key differences:

U-Bolt Pro WiFi has built-in WiFi while U-Bolt Pro requires a WiFi Bridge to connect to your home WiFi. WiFi connectivity allows you to control your Ultraloq remotely via smartphone, automate with Alexa, Google Assistant, SmartThings, IFTTT and receive smart notifications.

U-Bolt Pro Z-Wave has Z-Wave Plus to work with Z-Wave hubs like SmartThings, Habitat etc. Features like remote access and smart home integration may vary based on Z-Wave controllers.

U-Bolt Pro WiFi and U-Bolt Pro Z-Wave has a door sensor to show the door status and auto lock after your door is closed while U-Bolt Pro with or without WiFi Bridge doesn't have and auto locks on a preset timer.

Overall liking my ultraloq

It’s not perfect, but overall my ultraloq pro WiFi has worked out. It works as advertised. The only problems I’ve had are: 1. When batteries died I got locked out. It comes with a physical key but I haven’t been in the habit of carrying it because I don’t normally need it with the ultraloq. I didn’t get a battery health notification, so I didn’t change the batteries and wasn’t carrying my key. Not a huge deal since I have another door, but annoying. 2. The fingerprint pad works, but can be a little finicky sometimes. There’s a certain way you need to apply your finger, which I’ve gotten the hang of at this point. 3. The Google Home integration doesn’t work reliably. I have it set to lock every night at a certain time, but the connection between the two breaks sometimes and I have to set it up again.

It does what it claims

This is a really good smart lock. Install was a snap and the app works well. A neighbor has one and recommended the Ultraloq when I said I wasn't happy with the smart lock I had. I'm glad I switched.

1. Will Ultraloq U-Bolt Pro Series Work on My Door?

Ultraloq U-Bolt Pro Series fit the United States standard doors with a 2-1/8" (53 mm) diameter borehole. Click here to check the detailed dimensions.

For thicker doors Between 1-3⁄4" to 2-1⁄4", please order the Ultraloq Thick Door Kit.

2. How can I unlock U-Bolt Pro Series if battery runs out?

There will be low battery alert on the lock and App when battery is low. Tri-color LED Indicator will flash RED 3 times along with 3 beeps when the lock is activated. Please replace batteries. If the batteries run out, please use the backup key to unlock or connect a 5V power bank to activate the lock temporarily.

4. What is the user capacity for the U-Bolt Pro Series?

The U-Bolt Pro Series supports a maximum of 50 users, each user can register one code and 2 fingerprints.

5. How do I connect the lock to the internet?

If you purchased the Bluetooth version, you'll need to buy an additional WiFi Adaptor to connect to the internet. Click here to purchase.

If you purchased the Z-Wave version, the package includes a WiFi Adaptor. Simply plug it in, configure your home Wi-Fi, and you're all set.

If you purchased the built-in WiFi version, no additional WiFi Adaptor is needed. Just connect it to your home Wi-Fi, and you're good to go.

6. How do I connect to Alexa, Google Assistant, SmartThings, or IFTTT?

First, connect your lock to WiFi. For the Bluetooth version, you’ll need to purchase a WiFi Adaptor separately. For other versions, no additional purchase is needed. Then download the U Home App and follow the setup instructions provided in the app.
