Under default settings, with an average of 10 events triggered per day, 4 AA alkaline batteries can last up to two months. If using AA lithium batteries, the battery life can extend up to four months. Actual battery life will vary based on device settings, usage, and environmental factors.
It is not recommended to place the Dot camera in high-traffic areas, as frequent triggers will accelerate battery consumption.
