Good quality lock

Good locks are hard to find, and this, despite its limitations, is a decent one. Everything seems to work the way it should. The only gripe I have is an intermittent issue with finger detection, but that is an issue I see with all locks, even the ones costing multiple of what I paid for this one. Overall - recommend!

We Love It!

We jumped all over this because of the fingerprint reader and our family couldn’t be happier. We switched from a different smart lock that had a digital keypad which caused problems for our children. Having a fingerprint reader and physical keys for combo lock entry is wonderful. The self locking mechanism is smooth and allows for the door to be locked behind our girls when they leave for school. The only thing I wish it had that it doesn’t is z-wave so I could add it to our Ring app. Oh well. Seriously, this lock is amazing and it was ridiculously easy to install and setup.

Great Smart Locks

Great smart locks. Just bought a new house and upgraded to these from the u-bolt pro wifi (which was also good). I love that the boot fingerprint adds support for HomeKit. Greta product and even a little bit less costly than other smart locks

How can I remotely control the Bolt Fingerprint?

There are two ways to remotely control the Bolt Fingerprint device:

If you're using the U home app, you can control your device remotely without hub.

If you prefer using Apple devices, you will need to set up an iPad, HomePod, or Apple TV as your remote control hub. Please keep the lock and the hub within the range of Bluetooth connectivity, ideally within 10 meters (33 feet) for optimal performance.
